Lincoln County, New Mexico ranked #1 in the state in 2003, on the rate of Domestic Violence (DV). Unfortunately, there has never been a publicly-funded shelter or comprehensive services for local victims. This serious and immediate need in our community led to the swift formation of Help End Abuse for Life, Inc.
